Me and this game

I know that I used to play 3 months, break 3 months, play 3 more and break more. Had to take breaks every time things got boring or friends left. For the last 3 years I've not taken breaks cause I felt I had the obligation to stay or else the corporation or clan would fall apart cause it did when I left for a few days.

I've currently been on a semi break for 2 months where I'd log in for citadel and sometimes for ports and recently for the super September challenges. I figured I'd come back and try playing full time again starting the beginning of October but this most recent update got to me good.

Jagex has always banned rwt and they slowly incoperated it into the game with sof and are now over neck deep in it with bonds. Now I get it. I really do. It does make things safer for those that want to trade real cash for stuff. They don't get malware and they don't get scammed. But really? rwt? They say they did not want to trade the gp themselves so their getting the player base to do it. So they are basically making all of us do rwt?

No. Just no.

I'm keeping my stuff. I'm not giving it away so don't anyone beg for it. If I ever decide to drop by again or give it another shot sometime down the road I know I'll have my gear to play with you all even if it's only for a few hours.

Mud and It (sainz) now have Overseer rank. They can do everything in the game that Epy and I can do.

I would have promoted Epy to leader but I know he's not around for it so I prefer leaving a few people with power to do stuff.

Should anything need doing which only the owner can do, I'll have to figure out how to pass it on. Just let me know and I'll log in and do it.

Seriously though, this update has gone too far. Sure, SoF is RWTing but at least you couldn't guarantee what you got. This however, well... The fact that Jagex flatly refuse to admit that it is directly allowing players to buy gold is just horrible. If Jagex get the profits, it's OK?

The only reason I have any obligation to actually stay playing the game is because I happen to run part of Ultimate Corporation, however inactively that might be. I don't know what other people in the clan are doing but recently even the "I'll come on to talk" option seems to be in decline as less and less people are online.

So, my membership credit expires on the second of October.
Membership cancelled.

Goodbye RuneScape...

You could still do your own thing and play with like minded people. You could before, when people where buying their gold elsewhere. You don't have to give your gold to bond holders just like you never had to use sof. I know I've been more at peace with the game since I stopped using sof 10 months ago, knowing I could be satisfied with what I achieved no matter how other ppl went about it.

So I'm still attached to this game; I'm not happy about how it's lost its integrity over these past two years but I can still enjoy a good dung floor. I just ignore the bs.

I'm sorry to see our clan go, but I suspected you guys had lost interest in Runescape, Bonds update or no.

I just can't stomach supporting a company that is so contradictory. I fully understand what you mean It. And I too was ignoring all the bs but I just can't anymore.

I for one don't want to loose contact with you all though and I have a few of you on fb but I'm starting to loose interest there too, will prolly be back to it in a few months. But I would like to visit this forum more regularly just to keep contact cause I don't have you all on skype and such though having you on there would guarantee me actually seeing you around lol

I found out that Eagez also played wow but currently does not have time bought. He says that when he does he'll make a toon on Draenor to play with Epy and I. (in case you missed it, Draenor is the server we mostly play on *hint hint wink wink nudge nudge*)

I do hope that you guys can keep the clan going for yourselves though. The citadel is an epic place for your xp and I made sure you guys have control over it all. If you want the ownership It, I'll gladly hand it over to you as I trust you fully with our friends (:

We've been talking in the cc about keeping the clan alive. I'll try and help. For now I'm fine with being Overseer at least until I find out if we can make it work.

I don't think either of us had lost interest in the game entirely. I really didn't feel like playing most of the time and my motivation this month has just been the challenges each day, but I guess this development is just an excuse to leave.

The clan will keep going as long as there are active people around, and the citadel should be fine if people are reminded

I think it can survive fine if folks start talking more (: That's one thing many people said as to why they don't come on as much. That when they are on, no one talks, so why bother coming. I don't know if those comments reached you guys or not so figured to share it as it can help (:

Knowing your experience in leading clans (alliances in DT) I'm sure you won't have issues with the others help (:

Well, I managed to get a virus on my computer last Friday, but I outsmarted it and faked a shut down and then go some anti virus programs running, cleaned out the virus and other stuff that I have been egging to get rid of. Love this new anti virus program. :3

Last I checked, so does RuneScape.

Besides, WoW is better than 07scape by a long, long way and doesn't have the Squeal.

Oh, and the first month is free, albeit a limited version of the game where most of the social elements (i.e guilds, the Auction House and trading) are unavailable. It's still well worth a try if you've never played before
